Last updated: October 2026

New Foundation Christian Ministries (“NFCM”, “we”, “us”) is a Christian church in Kingston, Jamaica. We respect your privacy and want you to feel safe when you visit nfcmonline.com, send us a message or share a prayer request. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, how we use it and the choices you have.

We handle personal information in line with the Data Protection Act, 2020 (Jamaica).

In short

  • We only collect what you choose to send us, such as a message or prayer request.
  • We use it to reply to you, to pray for you and to care for you. We never sell or rent it.
  • Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set cookies of its own.
  • You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.

Information you give us

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, an optional phone or WhatsApp number, and your message.
  • Prayer request form. Your prayer request, and, only if you choose to give them, your name and an email address or phone number so that we can follow up. You can also ask us to keep your request confidential.
  • WhatsApp, email and phone. If you contact us using the WhatsApp links on our website, by email or by phone, we receive whatever information you include in your message.

Each form includes a simple maths question to help us block spam.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us only to:

  • reply to your message or question;
  • pray for you and, if you ask us to, follow up with you;
  • provide pastoral care and support; and
  • help you plan a visit or get involved in the life of the church.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Prayer requests and confidentiality

Prayer requests are shared only with the members of our pastoral and prayer team who pray for them and follow up. If you tick “Please keep my request confidential”, we will not share your request publicly or read it aloud, and we will keep it within the pastoral team. You do not need to give your name to send a prayer request.

How messages are handled and stored

Messages sent through our website forms are not stored on the website. They are sent by email to the church’s inbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail). We keep messages only for as long as we need them to respond and care for you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Information collected automatically

Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set cookies of its own.

Like most websites, our hosting provider, Hostinger, automatically keeps standard server records, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These records are used to keep the website secure and running well.

Videos, maps and links to other websites

Some pages include content from other services. These services may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies:

  • YouTube. Our sermons, services and podcast episodes are shown using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube (Google) may collect information or set cookies when you play a video.
  • Google Maps. Our map and directions are provided by Google Maps, which may collect information when the map loads or when you use it.
  • Social media and WhatsApp. Links to our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply once you are there.

Giving

We do not take payments on our website. Our Give page lists the church’s bank account details so that you can give by bank transfer. Your bank handles the details of your payment. If you contact us about a gift, we use your information only to confirm or acknowledge it.

Photos and videos

Our website shares photos and videos from church services, events and outreach. If you appear in an image and would like it removed, or if you would like a photo of your child removed, please contact us and we will remove it.

Children

Our website forms are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your personal details.

Keeping your information safe

Our website uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit access to messages and prayer requests to the people who need them to respond, and we protect our accounts with passwords. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, but we take care to protect what you share with us.

Your choices and rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2020 (Jamaica), you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information; or
  • stop using your information.

To make a request, please contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica.
